Dahmer is a fictionalised biopic about the life of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer who was caught in 1991 and later convicted for 15 murders. This is a serious look at the subject which may prove too sympathetic for many. We follow Dahmer as he stalks and murders various victims and the action is interspersed with flashbacks to his past which focus on his attempts to come to terms with his homosexuality and his relationship with his father. There are some good acting performances here and the film is well made but the subject matter is very unpleasant stuff and despite the nod towards trying to understand Dahmer's horrible actions the film doesn't really offer any answers.
