In this madcap slasher flick a group of tourists become trapped in the swamps of New Orleans when their boat tour goes wrong and they bump into a maniacal hillbilly mutant called Victor Crowley who wastes no time in chopping them up. This is dripping with gore, full of cheesy dialogue, corny gags and features lots of gratuitous nudity. The acting is hammy, the direction is pretty decent and this is an entertaining blast of gory horror reminiscent of the classic eighties slasher movies. It lacks a decent background story and is played for laughs, even the murder scenes, so don´t expect any scares.
