This was supposed to be the last Hellraiser but as long as more cash can be squeezed from a license the sequels keep on rolling and sadly Pinhead is now approaching double figures. As a finale to the saga this film sucks, in fact as a film this sucks. We open on a spaceship where a guy named Merchant is summoning Pinhead. Via a series of flashbacks we learn his ancestor created the box and his bloodline is cursed but they also hold the secret of how to defeat Pinhead once and for all. The first part of the film focuses on a trapped demon slapper named Angelique and then Pinhead appears and acts like a cheap drug baron kidnapping a wife and kid and generally being outsmarted at every turn right up until the sci-fi finale. Director Kevin Yagher removed his name from this after the studio did their own edit and brought in a new director to shoot extra scenes. The film features lots of Pinhead action and some gory sequences but the writing is terrible. The series actually got much worse after this and although it is rubbish this is the last Hellraiser film you should even consider watching.

Gore - the director worked on loads of horror movies as a make-up and effects man so the gore is good, pity the film isn't
