Sometimes titled Doctor Sleep or Close Your Eyes this is quite a creepy thriller about a serial killer who has been abducting children. A young girl escapes his clutches but won't speak and policewoman Janet appeals to hypnotherapist Michael to help unlock the secret of what happened to her and track down the killer before he strikes again. This is an original story, it is very well directed and the cast are all excellent. The tension builds up nicely and the story veers away from predictable thriller territory into outright horror quite unexpectedly. There are definitely a few plot holes but this was far better than expected.
