Leon and his sister Ursula grow up with a peculiar family friend called Pin. Their father is a doctor and he uses ventriloquism and a medical anatomy dummy to explain various things to his children. He's a traditional kind of guy and obviously finds some topics awkward, plus the dummy is a great device to get their attention, bit weird, but fair enough. Now as kids it's not surprising they buy the idea that Pin is alive, but when Leon grows older and more awkward he still has faith. As a social outcast it seems Pin is his only friend and his obsession grows more disturbing and dangerous. This is seriously weird stuff but it is distinctly creepy and makes for an entertaining psychological horror tale.
