Planet Terror was part of the Grindhouse double bill coupled with Tarantino's Death Proof. Rodriguez has made a much more entertaining and hilariously over the top film here as some kind of experimental bio-weapon turns people into zombie like creatures and our rag-tag band of survivors have to fight to save the world. This is seriously action-packed with a slick wit and some great characters, not to mention loads of gruesome zombies and gore. Stylistically the film captures the grindhouse feel perfectly, the cast is fantastic and the fast-paced demented plot can hardly fail to entertain. All in all this is one of the best B-movies you're ever likely to see.
