Q: The Winged Serpent

A down on his luck jazz pianist agrees to assist in a robbery to make ends meet and stumbles onto the nest of a giant flying lizard which is terrorising New York. The detectives investigating have to find the creature and stop it from eating people amid an atmosphere of growing panic. They throw in a back story about the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl but it doesn´t make a great deal of sense. This is tongue in cheek stuff with a strong focus on the characters, endless aerial footage of New York and abysmal special effects for the creature.
