This is a very strange film, broken into three stories about three generations of men. There's a man who can shoot fire out of his penis, a champion speed eater and a lonely taxidermist. It has an amazing visual style and it is certainly very original but it is also seriously grotesque and perverse. The imagery is astoundingly nauseating and although the Hungarian director is exploring themes of greed and loneliness you may struggle with some of the nightmarish scenes he has created here. This is seriously demented but strangely compelling at the same time although one viewing is definitely enough.
