Here's a creepy setup. A young couple stop at a backwaters motel in the outback, man goes for a snack and returns to find pregnant wife gone. Cut to wife waking up in an ice-water bathtub with a C-section scar. A promising, mysterious intro goes downhill when she bumps into a bunch of other mothers all with matching scars and they act like a bunch of demented idiots instead of escaping. The twists are annoying, the premise is too stupid for words, and the pace is too slow. Beyond the idea of having your baby stolen, this is more mystery thriller than horror. It's quite well made with a 70's Ozploitation feel, but the plot just reeks.
