Jimmy (Kilmer) walks into a newspaper office and tells the editor that six people are going to die horribly within a couple of hours. The editor calls a grizzled cop (Assante) and a prolonged interrogation begins. Jimmy goes on about global warming and how he is going to prove a point by cooking six people in a steam room. He has lured them in on some pretence about dating and now they are trapped and going mad. This is a bit of a stinker to be honest and although I like Kilmer and Roberts their performances are every bit as rubbish as the rest of this film. The confused revelatory ending provoked hysterical laughter and left several unanswered questions.
