A typically dysfunctional family in small town America have to deal with some trying circumstances when daughter Helen dies unexpectedly only to return as a vampire. A religious mother, Goth sister and eccentric brother are pulled together as they try to cope with the transformation. This is chaotic, bloody and hugely fun from start to finish. The cast, direction, script and effects are impressive. This is a witty, well made black comedy which surpasses its low budget roots and makes for a really enjoyable night of dark entertainment.
